The Counseling Staff

The staff consists of Dona C. Eley, M.Ed., L.P.C., Nils O. Dihle, M.S., L.P.C., Kristina Weltzin, L.C.S.W. and Ruth Bullock, M.A., L.P.C.

 

 Dona C. Eley, M.Ed., L.P.C
Dona Eley received her Masters degree in Counselor Education from the University of North Carolina. She has been counseling at the Community Christian Counseling Center since January, 1999. Couples, adolescents and adults have been the focus of her practice. Helping individuals come to a place of greater peace and purpose has been her professional and spiritual passion. Anxiety, eating disorders, depression/loss/ life crises issues, post traumatic stress, interpersonal conflict, relationship disappointments and spiritual confusion are examples of the issues that clients bring to treatment as they seek life change and freedom from pain.

In addition to private counseling, Dona has been the guest speaker at women's church retreats and seminars focusing on relational and self esteem issues.

Nils O. Dihle, M.S., L.P.C.
Mr. Dihle received a Masters of Science in Mental Health and Counseling from Montana State University after teaching serveral years in the Juneau School District. His experience with children includes work as a school counselor as well as a group counselor for youngsters who have experience abuse and neglect. Mr. Dihle has also counseled with adults on both on an individual and group basis.

Currently, Mr. Dihle is also working for Southeast Senior Services as a counselor with seniors and their care givers. He is married and has three sons. His family attends Eagle Wings Community Church.

 


 
 

Kristina Weltzin, L.C.S.W.
Kristina Weltzin received a Masters of Social Work at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She has maintained a License of Clinical Social Work in the state of Alaska since 1995.

Ms. Weltzin has been working with families and youth empowering them to make positive changes. She has expertise in developmental life crises, substance abuse, depression and grief/loss issues.

She is a lifelong Alaskan raising her two children in Juneau

Ruth Bullock, M.A., L.P.C.
Ruth Bullock received her Masters in Educational Psychology at Pacific Lutheran University in 1989. She has been working as a counselor in Southeast Alaska for the past 18 years. She is a certified drug and alcohol counselor and a licensed mental health counselor. Areas of counseling experience include: grief and loss issues, post trauma experiences, depression, anxiety, resolving relationship stress in the marriage and in the family as well as supporting those with more serious substance abuse and/or mental health issues.

Ruth has worked with children, adolescents, and adults; and believes that counseling others is a privilege.
